Koch Puppet GOP N.H. Candidate Scott Brown Encourages Voter Fraud (AUDIO)
When a call came in that the host identified as from Vermont, Brown invited them to;
“…come over and do same-day registration and say they want to come down and vote. So if they feel compelled to do so, come on down.”
Brown himself is a recent arrival in the Granite State, having served briefly as the Senator from Massachusetts and filling out the remainder of Edward Kennedy’s term before losing his reelection bid to Elizabeth Warren. Brown then moved to the politically greener pastures of New Hampshire in 2013 and registered as a voter there last December. Three months later, he announced his candidacy for the seat currently held by New Hampshire Democrat, Jeanne Shaheen.
A spokesperson for Brown’s campaign responded to a Boston.com story about the incident in an Email that, “He was clearly joking.” But that is a distinction that Brown made no attempt to clear up while actually live on the radio, and when you give it a listen it’s tough to tell. Perhaps the ease with which Brown slithered across state lines has clouded his judgment regarding what is proper for the voters.
The move would be a win/win for Brown. If it’s successful, he gets back into the Senate.
And if not, maybe the GOP – after numerous futile attempts to prove such fraud exists – will finally be able to produce a significant number of fraudulent voters in their next investigation.
Listen and decide for yourself if Brown was joking;
