This is Simon Beck.  You may think he’s a madman.  You might possibly be right.  But these pictures are probably the most amazing thing you’ll see today.  This guy’s hobby will either inspire you or make you painfully aware that you are wasting your life.

Simon is an orienteering map maker for a living.  He applies the skills from that job to create elaborate artworks in the snow.  Like this:


Fortunately for Simon (and us), we have some wonderful photography of his artworks.  The scale is breathtaking, the precision mind-blowing.  It’s almost a religious experience.
