Texas Judge Nearly Barred From Voting Because Of New Voter ID Laws (VIDEO)

Kiii News reports that a new voter I.D. law “is often a problem for women who use maiden names or hyphenated names.”

Nueces County election officials say a 117th District Court  Judge was almost such victim when she was flagged for possible voter fraud. The law went in to effect on Tuesday,  just as early voting in Texas’ November 5 elections. Said Judge Sandra Watts;

“What I have used for voter registration and for identification for the last 52 years was not sufficient yesterday when I went to vote.”

She also asks,

“…why would I want to use a provisional ballot when I’ve been voting regular ballot for the last 49 years?”

Of course The Everlasting GOP Stoppers maintain that the real fraud is voter suppression – in ANY form. Republicans lead this effort.  Voter Fraud Facts reports “organizations like Fox News (Murdoch) & ALEC (Koch Brothers) help to spread talking points and draft legislation to prevent low-incomes families, students, seniors and “minorities” from voting,” adding ;

“Between 200 and 2010 there were 649 million votes cast in general elections and 13 cases of in-person voter impersonation.”
